B.Com (Graduate Course) is a job-oriented course. Today, the world is highly competitive and students of commerce are highly appointed in various national and multi-national companies. They are appointed as Chartered Accountants, Company Secretary, Bank Manager, Chief Executive Officer and so on.

The faculty of Department is actively engaged in research work and highly qualified. The faculty always engaged with students for their development.

Department of English

It has a well-equipped Language Lab with multi-media audio-visual systems and computers. In addition there is a library which stocks relevant books on literature and language. Apart from abiding by the prescribed syllabus of the university the faculty members familiarize the students with various approaches to literature and language. The Department organizes curricular and extra-curricular activities for the students, including Quiz Contests, Declamation Contests, Group Discussions, Workshops and Seminars.

Department of Physics

The Department of Chemistry was founded in 2014. It offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The dept has honest, experienced, dedicated faculty to cater the needs of students. In order to give a varied intellectual exposure to the students the department invites eminent professors from IITs, BITS Pilani, M.D.U. Rohtak and other premier institutions of the nation under the banner of its Guest’s Lecture Series.

The department gives equal importance to the theoretical knowledge and practical one. Therefore, it has four full- fledged laboratories named: Solid State Physics Lab, Analogue and Digital Electronics Lab, Commodious Dark Room and Classical Physics Lab. The Department runs coaching programmes for IIT JAM.

The Department of Chemistry was founded in 2014. The department has stimulating undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes. Frequent summer institutes, refresher and orientation courses have been organized for the benefit of talented students. The department has good laboratory facilities for carrying out practical knowledge of the fields such as: Organic Synthesis, Chemical Analysis, Instrumentation, Catalysis, Photochemistry etc.

The department has well qualified and motivated faculty members and support staff. The laboratories are adequately equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The students of UG and PG classes are made familiar with the fundamental to the latest development in computer world.

Examinations

There is an Examination Cell headed by the Controller of Examinations with supporting staff. Conducting of all In-house examinations is the prime responsibilities of the Exam Cell.

College Rules & Regulations

  1. Every student is to carry his/her Identity card for identification purposes.
  2. A student is to maintain 75% attendance in all the subjects. If a student is short of attendance in one subject, he/she will be detained in the same class.
  3. Attendance will be taken for each lecture and practical class. Any student arriving late for a lecture or Practical will not be considered as having attended that class.
  4. A disciplinary action will be taken against the student using unfair means in sessional/ university examination.
  5. All the students have to maintain a day to day record of their work and observations in the practical training diary during practical training.
  6. It is each student’s own responsibility to keep himself/herself informed of all the official notices displayed on the college notice board.
  7. Drinking of alcohol is strictly banned. If a student is found in the state of intoxication and smoking in the campus, he/she will be expelled from the institute with i m mediate effect.
  8. Ragging is a crime and a punishable act. Any student found involved in this act, he/she will be suspended immediately.
  9. Involvement of a student in strike is an act of indiscipline.
  10. Rash driving on the campus is strictly prohibited.
  11. Cell phones & Smoking within the College/Hostel premises or in the Student’s Mess are strictly prohibited.
  12. Institute fee is to be paid well in time to avoid any inconvenience.
  13. No student is permitted to leave the campus before prescribed time/without proper permission by the authorities of the institute.
